  • As supplied condition: Tempered to a hardness of 280 to 325 HB (950 – 1100 N / mm2) Low Temperature plastic mould steel with the very best machinability and high compressive stress.
  • Applications: Plastic moulds where machinability is paramount, Mould Frames and Mould assemblies; Bolsters for plastic and die-casting moulds. *Not suitable for grain or polishing application. To improve wear resistance 1.2312 nitriding is advisable.
